If you been to Italy you will feel at home in Elisabetta's European ambiance. It is embraced in everything, except in the brilliant staff who are speaking English, Which is appropriate as this wonderful "5 Star" eatery is located the the Greenwich Village of South Florida, Delray Beach.
Elisabetta's European ambiance begins when you walk in, the décor is what you would find in popular Italian restaurants in Europe, modern but with hints of their past. One thing that caught my eye was a old neon sign that you would see typically in Italy. Why Five Stars? Elisabetta's is a great restaurant and that of course starts with the menu. It is classic Italian which simply means great food and authentic choices. Next is the staff, the staff looks perfect and takes their positions seriously as wait staff does in Europe where service is a respected culture. Our waiter was Bray and he looked like he was picked after searching from a Hollywood casting call. He knew the menu as if he was the chef and recommend a dish, new to me that turned out perfect. I must also give credit to Vince Coppola, manager and most important to the overall management under the direction of Chad Nitzky, General Manager. If you love great food, ambiance and good service and find yourself any where near South Florida, make you way to this restaurant in the heart of Delray Beach. After dinner or lunch take time to stroll Atlantic Avenue to view the shops and art galleries of the special beachside city.
